Public health emergency system is of great importance to the protection of citizen’s right to health. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the construction of a public health emergency response system，has established a relatively complete legislation and plan system，as well as an effective public health emergency response mechanism. The infrastructure and personnel capabilities are continuously strengthened and the emergency response capabilities are fully improved. In recent years，outstanding achievements have been made in the areas of public health emergencies，such as the H7N9 bird flu and in the emergency medical rescue of natural disasters and accidents. China has played a prominent role in the international health emergency rescue of Ebola virus，with the concept of human destiny community. According to the requirements of the “Healthy China” 2030 Plan，the scientifically efficient and sustainable health emergency system with Chinese characteristics will be continuously improved.
