The 6^th Legislative Assembly elections was held in September 2017，following the revision of the electoral legislation in 2016. In terms of the electoral process，the candidate lists of the direct election constituency were more varied，and competition began to emerge in the indirect election constituency. In terms of electoral results，candidates claiming to represent middle class and professionals were elected for the first time. The political sectors were reshuffled to demonstrate a diversified and balanced state. In the meantime，electoral irregularities were drastically reduced，thus improving the overall electoral culture. In terms of electoral impacts，as the effects of electoral regime revisions became apparent，government policy implementation should focus on checks and accountability. It is expected that the collaborative relations between the Executive and Legislature，as well as the state of social stability，can be maintained.
