As public universities do，private colleges and universities also undertake the historical mission of cultivating qualified builders of socialism and successors. Outstanding achievements in party building is of great significance to adhere to the orientation of socialist education and guide the overall scientific development. Based on the reality of private colleges and universities，this article first elaborates on the current state of party building in private colleges and universities in Henan Province，and systematically analyzes the existing inadequacies and problems. On this basis，it also puts forward the practical suggestions for the scientific development of private colleges and universities under the leadership of party building.
