The year 2017 has witnessed the stable development of private higher education in Henan Province. Some schools hold a prudent attitude towards the choice between“profit-making operation”and“non-profit operation”after the implementation of the new“Law of the People's Republic of China on Promotion of Privately-run Schools”. However，the private-run schools in Henan Province has made their own choices while waiting for the governmental policies. In spite of the candidness and open mind of the private higher learning institutions，there are still many problems standing in the way of private higher education in Henan. Only through the concerted efforts will the private higher education be brought back to the track of sustainable and healthy development.
