Based on Internet Use by Minors in China surveys from 2006 to 2017，this study extracted data about minors’ use of mobile internet and WeChat. The findings are included Mobile internet is already widely used among minors. In general the frequency of mobile internet usage is declining. Socialization and entertainment are the main functions of mobile internet. WeChat payment is quietly growing. Classmates are an important part of WeChat socializing. WeChat is deeply permeated into their lives. Mobile internet defined a new form of socialization. Harmful contents are also on the internet. Based on these analyses，the author has a number of recommendations：Key opinion leaders should play a bigger role in forming better values；Media literacy should be further promoted；Data and privacy protection，and network monitoring for minors should be strengthened.
