Jiangsu Wenmai Research Project is advancing in a comprehensive and orderly manner， and has made some achievements. However， some important problems and basic temperament related to Jiangsu culture are gradually emerging， such as the overall characteristics of Jiangsu culture， the academic orientation of Jiangsu cultural research， the inheritance and innovation of Jiangsu cultural context， and so on. The thinking of future work can be carried out from the following four aspects：deep investigation， wide speech， establishment of forum and control of the whole process. This is not only to solve the present academic problems and improve the research quality as a whole， but also to realize the long-term goal of the context research project.
