Coal-fired heating is an important cause of haze in winter in northern China. Low temperature nuclear heating is a clean form of heating. The paper investigated the current situation of nuclear heating in the world，analyzed the technical conditions of two nuclear heating modes in domestic——the shell and the pool reactors，summarized the necessity of nuclear heating，the market prospect and the status of industrial popularization，and studied the problems encountered in the process of nuclear heating industrialization，and put forward some suggestions on how to promote the follow-up work of nuclear heating.
