Quality education，an educational concept that was initially proposed by China，bears independent connotation and features the most Chinese characteristics. It not only indicates the promotion of overall human development by improving the natural，social and professional literacy of the educated people，but also involves reform of the existing education system to give full play to the students’ own strengths and stimulate their thinking power and creativity of the whole society. Xinjiekou Sub-district has made great efforts in recent years in advancing quality education and building the lifelong education system，such as enhancing infrastructure of school education，guaranteeing school-age children enrolment，enriching teaching contents and extra-curricular activities through social resources，strengthening the construction of social education positions，creating learning communities，developing family education，and creating social cultural and educational brands. In the next step，it will conduct further work on quality education and develop a scientific evaluation system for its comprehensive development.
