Quasi property management，a term emerging with the urban construction development of China，aims at solving diversified problems in old neighborhoods due to the absence of property management. Encompassing the background，problems，features and mechanism in quasi property operations and management in the bungalow areas，the article strives to offer some theoretical support for the research of quasi property management. On the basis of typical domestic and municipal practices in this regard and the current progress of the bungalow areas in Xinjiekou Sub-district of Xicheng District，the article analyses problems in quasi property management and presents corresponding countermeasures.
