Basic public services are an important factor that affects the life quality of the residents. Improving the public service system to ensure the basic livelihood of the masses is the most direct and practical issue of interest that people concern most. In 2017，the research team distributed the questionnaires concerning public education resources，public cultural services，community services，employment （entrepreneur） services，elderly services，special services for the disabled，community security services and local infrastructure services to the 21 communities of Xinjiekou Sub-district，aiming at identifying the awareness，satisfaction，participation and demands of the residents for basic public services of the community. While summarizing major results of the survey，the report also conducts in-depth analysis on such issues as preschool education，elderly care services and infrastructure and presents corresponding countermeasures.
